Linen Chutes
Our linen or laundry chute systems allow the disposal of soiled linen with maximum convenience to help keep a clean facility and eliminate the cost in labor of hauling from floor to floor.
Chutes diameter range from 18” to 36”and all the intake doors bear 1-1/2 Hr. 250° F U.L. "B" labels. Options also include ADA compliant intake doors and Electrical Interlock system for safety.
Linen chutes most often feature side hinged doors to accommodate linens (which are usually bagged or bundled). Doors are specially designed with cantilevered brackets and provide a full 180 degrees of opening.

- Optional stainless steel chutes & fittings available
- Optional Sound Insulation: Daubert 932 sound coat and Korfund sound isolator pads at each floor
- Intake: 21″ x 21″ Stainless Steel, self-closing, positive latching, side-hinged door
- Optional cylinder locks to prevent unauthorized use
- Ventilation: full diameter vent 4′ above roof with metal explosion cap
- Sprinklers: 165 degree sprinkler head with shield above top intake. Additional sprinklers and sheilds at every second intake (or as required by code).
